It is where students find their mentors, where professionals find their peers, and where the platform’s commitment to credible, human knowledge becomes visible.

This section is actively building its founding cohort — the first educators, industry professionals, and student contributors whose work and profiles will define the platform’s editorial standard. If you have knowledge worth sharing, this is where that contribution becomes a permanent part of something worth building.

Profile cards will appear here as contributors are approved and go live. Each card links to a full contributor profile page showing their bio, credentials, published works, session availability, and areas of expertise. The grid below shows the template structure for each card.

Being a Featured Author or Expert on ExpertCareerGuide.com is distinct from simply having a contributor account. It is an editorial recognition — applied to contributors whose work, profile, and community engagement meet the platform’s quality and credibility standards.

Recognition as a founding contributor	Early contributors join a founding cohort whose work and profiles define the platform’s editorial standard — a recognition that holds permanent value as the community scales

The platform welcomes featured contributor applications from all three communities. There is no minimum publication count or session history required to apply — early-stage contributors who meet the quality and ethics standards are actively encouraged to join the founding cohort.

What Featured Contributors Can Publish

Featured contributors have access to all six content formats in the Knowledge Hub, as well as the Digital Library for longer-form e-book submissions.

Content format is not a prerequisite for featured status — you can apply before you have submitted your first piece. The featured application and the contributor submission process are separate pathways that run in parallel.

How to Apply

The application process is designed to be straightforward. It is not an academic accreditation process — it is a verification and quality check that protects the platform’s credibility and your own professional identity within it.

1	Complete the application form	Fill in the Featured Author & Expert application form at the bottom of this page. All fields marked as required must be completed. Agree to the Code of Ethics, Quality & Verification Standards, and Privacy & Data Protection documents before submitting.
2	Editorial review	The ECG editorial team reviews your application — typically within 7 to 14 business days. The review considers your background, stated expertise, and any portfolio or published work you have provided.
3	Verification	If further verification is needed, the editorial team will contact you via the email provided. This may involve reviewing a LinkedIn profile, institutional page, or portfolio link.
4	Profile setup	Once approved, you will be guided through completing your public contributor profile — including your bio, credentials, expertise tags, and profile photo. This becomes your permanent Featured Author & Expert page.
5	Go live	Your profile is published in the Featured Authors & Experts grid. If you have already submitted content for the Knowledge Hub, your published works are linked from your profile immediately on launch.

Already a registered contributor? If you already have a contributor account on ExpertCareerGuide.com, you can apply for featured status at any time — there is no waiting period. Featured status is an editorial recognition applied independently of your registration date.

Community Standards for Featured Contributors

Featured contributors are held to the same standards as all platform contributors — but with additional visibility comes additional responsibility. The following principles apply specifically to featured status.

• Maintain an active, accurate profile — update your bio, credentials, and expertise tags if your professional circumstances change
• Continue contributing — featured status is an active recognition, not a permanent passive credential. Contributors who have not published or offered sessions within a 12-month period may be moved to standard contributor status
• Represent your expertise honestly — featured profiles are publicly indexed. Overstating credentials or misrepresenting professional history is grounds for removal
• Engage responsibly with the community — featured contributors are visible to students and professionals making real decisions. The quality and ethics of your guidance matters more, not less, at this level of visibility
• Honor the platform’s editorial independence — featured contributors cannot use their profile or published work to promote products, services, or organizations in ways that compromise the platform’s non-commercial editorial integrity
